SACA U-18/20 CHAMPIONSHIP 2026, MAURITIUS

2 Female and 6 Male athletes competing in the SACA U-18/20 Championship 2026, Mauritius from 6th – 7th June, 2026

 The team departed on Thursday 4th June, and expected to return on Monday 8th June, 2026.

The team have been accompanied by Coaches Joseph Adem, Gerish Rachel and Head Coach Joseph Volcy.

MAURTIUS SACA U18 & U 20

2 Female and 6 Male athletes to compete in Mauritius SACA U18/U20, Championship,6th-7th June,2026

The athletes left Seychelles Thursday 4th June to compete in the above – mentioned competition.

They will be accompanied by Head Coach Joseph Volcy, coach Joseph Adem, Gerish Rachel.

Four officials have also been invited to officiate in the below mentioned competition.

The team expected to be back on Monday 8th June, 2026.

The competition is fully funded by our partners, the Seychelles Olympic Commonwealth Games, Association (SOCGA) and National Sports Council

15 Runners started the 3rd  Edition of the 5K and 10K Road Race Series for 2026

According to official records a total of 15 runners out of 23 who registered started the above- mentioned race that took place Saturday 30th May, 2026, starting at 3pm.

For the 10K, there were 2 female runners and 6 male runners for different category

For the 5K, there were 3 female runners and 4 male runners for different category

For this Editions, monetary rewards were presented to the first, second and third in the following categories:   Senior over 20-Male/Female, Master over 40 – Male/Female

The Road Race organizing committee are vails of this opportunity to thank all the partners including the runners who in one way or another contributed to the successful organization of the 3rd Edition of the 5K/10K Road Races Series for 2026

 Runners started the 2nd Edition of the 5K and 10K Road Race Series for 2026

According to official records a total of 16 runners out of 18 who registered started the above- mentioned race that took place Saturday 25th April, 2026 starting at 3pm.

For the 10K, there were only 4 male runners for different category

For the 5K, there were 2 female runners and 10 male runners for different category

For this Editions, monetary rewards were presented to the first, second and third in the following categories:  Junior under 18-Male, Junior under 20-Male, Senior over 20-Male/Female, Master over 40 – Male/Female

KFC Marathon-Mauritius 19th April 2026

Athlete Iven Moise competed in KFC Marathon -Mauritius from 19th  – 21st April, 2026

He was accompanied by Head Coach Joseph Volcy

Iven is back to Seychelles.

He participated in the 42Km, finishes 3rd position with a time of 02:36:30.

His participation is fully funded by our partner, the National Sports Council (NSC)

2 female and 1 male athletes competed in the Open de Saint de Andre Athletics Championship in Reunion on Saturday 25th April, 2026.

They were accompanied by head coach Joseph Volcy. The team is back on Monday 27th April, 2026.

The sponsors from our partners namely National Sports Council (NSC) and Seychelles Olympic, commonwealth Games, Association (SOCGA)

Aliyaa Nicette is a young talented athlete, she has been selected to undertake a training camp in Mauritius from 16th – 24th April, 2026, she is also competing in the

Mauritius Athletics Association Series.

Aliyaa is accompanied by her coach Gerish Rachel. They expected to be back on 27th April, 2026.

The Training camp has been sponsored by our partner Seychelles Olympic Commonwealth Games Association (SOCGA).

Competition Results: Aliyaa Nicette – 100M (under 18)  Rank: 1st Position, Time: 13.54

1 female and 1 male junior athlete competed in Mauritius Athletics Trial from 6th -7th March, 2026.

The athletes departed Seychelles on Thursday 5th March to compete in the above mentioned competition.

They were accompanied by Head coach Joseph Volcy and coach Gerish Rachel.

The team is back on Monday 9th March, 2026.
