6TH  KIDS ATHLETICS COMPETITION – SATURDAY 13^th SEPTEMBER,2025, BELOMBRE, PLAYING FIELD

On the 13^th September 2025, the Kids Athletics Committee organized its 6^th kids’ athletics competition at the Belombre Playing Field. Four (4) primary schools participated in this competition – Belombre, Beau Vallon, La Retraite and Anse Etoile.

• 1^st position Beau Vallon primary school
• 2^nd position Anse Etoile, primary school
• 3^rd position La Retraite, primary school
• 4th position Belombre, primary school

The competition attracted a good number of parents and spectators.

22 Runners started the 3rd Edition of the 5K and 10K Road Race Series, which took place on Saturday 30th August, 2025

According to official records a total of 22 runners out of 30 who registered started the above-mentioned race.

For the 10K Race, there were 2 female runners and 8 male runners for different categories.

For the 5K Race, there were 4 female runners and 8 male runners for the different categories.

The Road Race organizing committee are vails of this opportunity to thank all the many partners including the runners and the motorists who in one way or another contributed to the successful organization of the 3^rd Edition of the 5K / 10K Road Race Series and the two previous Races.

OPEN DE SAINT DE ANDRE ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS – REUNION

1 Female and 6 Male participated in the Open De Saint De Andre Athletics Championships- Reunion – from 25^th to 27^th April, 2025.

The team returned on Monday 28^th April, 2025.

They were accompanied by Head Coach Joseph Volcy and Coach Giovanni Fanny.

26 Runners started the 2^nd Edition of the 5K and 10K Road Race Series for 2025

According to official records a total of 26 runners out of 36 who registered started the above- mentioned race that took place Saturday 26^th April, 2025 starting at 3pm.

For the 10K, there were 2 female runners and 3 male runners for different category

For the 5K, there were 5 female runners and 16 male runners for different category

For this Editions, monetary rewards were presented to the first, second and third in the following categories:  Youth under 16 – Male/Female, Junior under 18-Male/Female, Junior under 20-Male/Female, Senior over 20-Male/Female, Master over 40 – Male/Female

The Road Race organizing committee are vails of this opportunity to thank all the partners including the runners who in one way or another contributed to the successful organization of the 2^nd Edition of the 5K/10K Road Races Series.

According to official records a total of 26 runners out of 33 who registered started the above mentioned race that took place Saturday 22^nd February, 2025, starting at 3pm.

For the 10K Race, there were 2 female runners and 4 male runners for different categories

For the 5K Race, there were 5 female runners and 15 male runners for the different categories

For this Editions, monetary rewards were presented to the first, second and third in the following categories:  Youth under 16 – Male/Female, Junior under 18-Male/Female, Junior under 20-Male/Female,  Senior over 20-Male/Female, Master over 40 – Male/Female

The Road Race organizing committee are vails of this opportunity to thank all the many partners including the runners and the wardens who in one way or another contributed to the successful organization of the 1^st  Edition of the 5K / 10K Road Race Series.

Long Distance Runner Iven Moise returned Seychelles on Monday 10^th February 2025, after competing in the above mentioned competition.

He participated in the 10K, cross country.

Results

Iven came out 11^th position out of 45 participants with a time of 34.10secs
